Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for SiteDocket subscriptions, operated by SiteDocket LLC. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Free Trial
Paid plans may include a free trial. During the trial you have full access to your plan’s features. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and your payment method is charged. The free trial is your opportunity to evaluate the Service before paying.
2. Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until you cancel. Charges are processed securely by Stripe.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@sitedocket.com. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew for the next billing period.
- You keep access to your paid features until the end of the current paid period.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period.
4. Refunds
Because we offer a free trial so you can evaluate the Service before paying, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or features you did not use. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund charges already made.
This does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived.
5. Discretionary Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in individual cases (for example, a genuine billing error or a documented service problem). Granting an exception in one case does not obligate us to do so in any other case.
6. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your account until payment succeeds.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first at support@sitedocket.com so we can help. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
